How to install Systemback in Ubuntu 14.04.X LTS / 15.04 / 15.10 / 16.04.X LTS / 16.10 and Linux Mint

In the today Internet world each day new apps, software, new updates, games are coming on the Internet. These thing are coming in very fast. So our nature is to try all the new things on the computer devices. So there can be some instances that your system can go on a wrong side. Your system could be dead or corrupted on using new soft or apps. Sometime the only solution will be the format of the system and re-installation of the OS. If this happens then you have to install all the required software and apps for your work again. This is not very hard but very tedious and time consuming task. So the shortest task is to make a system’s live ISO with all the softwares and updates in Ubutnu and Linux Mint. The benefit of this is that you can update the system and install all the software required for your work and then create a live ISO of the current state of the system. You can create a live bootable ISO from the Systemback and re-install the updated OS within less then 5 min.
“Systemback” is a Live ISO system generator. It also has the functionality of backup and restore for Ubuntu and Linux Mint system. Here is the terminal installation process for Ubuntu 14.04.X LTS/15.04/15.10/16.04.X LTS/16.10 and Linux Mint.
Open terminal via Ctrl+Alt+T and run these three commands one by one.
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback
After entering above code a key adding message will come to add the key in the system so when message appears hit the “Enter” button.
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install systemback
Open “Systemback” and it’s window will look like the figure below.
