Windows 8 and Windows 7 operating system have very cool features. Windows new operating system is very user friendly and easily customizable. To change a theme in windows 8 is pretty easy. First you need to right click on desktop and then select ‘Personalize’.
A small window will pop up.
Now drag side bar downward to see all themes available on the system.
Clicking one of the themes to activate. You can also customize the theme’s color, background and sound etc. Go to “Color” button and click it.
It will open a “Change the color of your window borders and task bar” window to select a color for task bar. Click one of the options and see the effect on the task bar.
If you don’t like the default color setting then change the “Color intensity” by dragging the bar left or right. There are few more setting available in the “Show color mixer”. Click the “Show color mixer” to open the “Hue”, “Saturation” and “Brightness”.
Drag the bar to see the effect and click the “Save changes” button to save the setting.
It will close the window and the customization will attached to theme name as “Unsaved Theme”. This unsaved theme can be saved by clicking “Save theme” button. Click it.
It will open a window to save the current theme. Write a name and click “Save” button. It will save the theme and customization. There are many more things can be edited like changing time of pictures attached to the theme and sound options from Desktop “Background” and “Sounds” options. Play with these to see the effect.
